Xbox pulls Microsoft Rewards punch card amid ongoing achievement tracking issues

By Sean Carey,

Xbox has temporarily pulled the 'Achieve More. Earn More.' daily Microsoft Rewards punch card while it investigates continuing achievement tracking issues.

Xbox recently lowered the requirements of some Microsoft Rewards punch cards found in the Microsoft Rewards app due to a delay in tracking achievements. It appears that the achievement tracking problem is ongoing as Xbox loyalty Marketing lead Daniel Martins has now revealed that the daily 'Achieve More. Earn More.' punch card has been taken down while the team tries to fix the issue.

"We strive to give our Xbox Rewards fans the best experience to enhance their gaming and time with Xbox and Microsoft services, Martins said in a tweet. "To ensure this, we took down 'Achieve More. Earn More.' for maintenance while our teams work to fix achievement tracking."

The punch card that occupies the 'Achieve More. Earn More.' tile has been changed, and when selected, now reads, "We're very sorry for the inconvenience, the 'Achieve More. Earn More.' activity has been removed from our daily offers. Our team is actively working to solve a technical problem with the offer." Upon closing, you will receive five Microsoft Rewards Points.

This week's Rewards Weekly Set also does not require you to unlock any achievements, though we assumed this was normal as not each week features an achievement task, at least in the UK. However, replying to a tweet asking if Xbox made the change due to the current achievement tracking issues, principal engineer for Xbox growth and loyalty Gary Waliczek said, "Hopefully, this will relieve some of the frustration."

Did you run into any achievement issues with the Rewards app last week? Let us know down in the comments.
