    G'day everyone,

It's bigger, badder and it has more teeth!

Here we go again. If you have seen or used my walkthrough for JWE1 then you know what to expect.

I've been slowly working on this, predominantly the challenges which are the 'hard' part of the game, for quite a while now. I'm pretty happy that I can write a guide that is robust - eg. that you will be able to follow.

While there is some randomness in the game, I hope to create guides that allow you succeed regardless of what happens.

To give you a taste, I've just posted a solution for Challenge 1:
Jurassic World Evolution 2That, that was a ChallengeThe That, that was a Challenge achievement in Jurassic World Evolution 2 worth 565 pointsComplete Challenge 1 (Jurassic difficulty)

I have already mapped out solutions for Challenges 2, 3 & 4 and hope to post them in the next month or so.

My plan is to post the solutions for the challenges, as that's where I think most people will want a guide. The actual walkthrough is going to take longer to compile.

I have an idea of how much time this is going to take (eg. lots wink), so I'm not going to even suggest a timeframe beyond what I've already mentioned. I'll be updating here regularly and I welcome constructive criticism on the solution(s) as they are posted (and, of course, on the walkthrough once it is finally published).

    I love this game!

    Hi all,

Solution for Challenge 2 is now done.
Jurassic World Evolution 2You've Done WellThe You've Done Well achievement in Jurassic World Evolution 2 worth 586 pointsComplete Challenge 2 (Jurassic difficulty)

Fun fact... when I first played it and planned out my solution, you could still place Aviaries and Lagoons which, admittedly, was strange as there is a challenge condition for no carnivores. Seems like that has been patched, so I had to completely redo the majority of it. Fortunately, it's one of the easier challenges.

    On to Challenge 3!

    G'day all,

I'm on a roll! Challenge 3 solution is live.

I modified my initial plan a little but most of my time was spent with small edits to the text and capturing/labelling the images.

Challenge 4 was the toughest of the lot for me. I don't expect it will be so quick to put together...

    Well, that went well!

I was able to put the solution together much faster than I expected. It's probably on the conservative side to say that I'd put 60-80 hours into this challenge alone before I asked to write the walkthrough. I still thought it would take longer to refine and write up.

As I said before, when I was playing through 'legit' this was the hardest challenge for me. I struggled just to get to 5-Stars at all. I managed to work the solution down to a little over 6hrs (game time) which I thought was pretty good. 6-8hrs is still probably a good estimate. With a few more changes, my best run (admittedly jumping ahead of the solution as I'm so familiar with it) was 4:21 which is crazy.

To be honest I haven't even looked at Challenge 5 since I played it 6 months ago but I remember it as being relatively easy. Hopefully I can surprise myself and get it done quickly.

After the others, this one was fairly easy.

So, that's all base-game challenges done. Starting on the campaign now, then Chaos Theory. Now sure how long it will take but I'm very happy with progress so far. I thought the challenges alone would take much longer.

    Another update everyone,

The DFW campaign, short as it is, is now done, along with the first Chaos Theory mission at Jurassic Park. I'll be working through the rest of the CT missions which will take a little time - I didn't make any notes so I'm playing and writing virtually from scratch. Replaying but actually knowing what I'm doing this time is great fun!

Just finishing the 4th Chaos Theory mission today. Already started on both the 5th CT mission and the Biosyn campaign.

    It's all coming along nicely.

It's been a while so here's another update.

Almost everything is now written at first draft level. I still have to work through some of the miscellaneous achievements and the Malta expansion.

I'm now doing a heap of testing and editing, refining along the way. The database is going to take a while to sort out too.

So, still making good progress but not expecting it to be finished any time soon.

    Hi all,

Thanks JuiceOmega. I know what it's like when you are waiting for a walkthrough, wondering how it's going. headspin

So, I admit it... I got a little burned out last week. Too much JWE2 (never thought I'd say that). Took a break but now I'm back! Dominion Malta is basically done, just adding images now. So all of the main walkthrough pages are basically done.

The database is coming together, but like the first game it will be slightly different if you have the DLC. That's creating a little more work.

Another quick update. It's getting closer to completion. Still need to clarify things and clean up some of the writing but I'm hopeful it will be submitted in the next couple of weeks.

Just wanted to drop in and say thanks for the hard work and time you're putting into this. Loved the first game and your guide helped me 100% every part of it. I tried JWE2 back when it released, followed a vid for challenge 1 and after 6-8 hours+ I could not for the life of me get the 5 stars over the line, have not played it since.

Been monitoring the game fairly regularly to see if things were nerfed/made easier and will be giving your solutions a go soon!

As a writer as a main job, I know what it's like to completely lose energy on something, I'm sure you'll nail it when it's finished though. Thanks again!
